A Rockin' New Year's Eve

We arrived home this afternoon from 10 days with family (including the Mum!) and snow and endless amounts of chocolate. It's New Year's Eve, our 17-month-old babe is asleep, we're mostly unpacked, so how are we going to celebrate? Hubster is prepping the living room for a viewing of Elf, which we'll follow up with our annual year-in-review questions.

Here's how it works: Quite simply, we take turns asking each other these questions, and then sit back and listen. I'm always amazed by what I learn about Hubster from our conversation! As we talk, I take down the answers, and this gets stored in a generic file on my computer (Note to self: Do something more productive with these notes. At least paste them in my journal.) (Before having our babe, we'd ask each other these questions over dinner on New Year's Eve...but we've modified the tradition somewhat.)

1. Highlights / Greatest accomplishments and triumphs?
2. Lowlights / Disappointments?
3. Firsts from the past year?
4. What you're looking forward to in the new year?
5. Goals for the new year?
